The UK-based Restaurant & Bar Design Awards is one of the most influential concepts in the hospitality sector. It is followed and entered by the majority of interior designers, architects, lighting designers, developers and operators involved in UK and global hospitality and architecture.
Awarding both hospitality operators and their designers for design excellence, the Awards will culminate in a grand and innovative ceremony in London at the RIBA, 66 Portland Place on the 6th September 2012.
This year the Awards have attracted over 600 entries from the UK and 60 other countries. Entries have come from all types of hospitality and architectural environments including hotels, transport, business, industry, fine dining, education, leisure, healthcare, government and retail.
Judges come from many different design sectors and include Alberto Alessi (Owner, Alessi), Stephen Booy (Chief Architect, Carnival Shipbuilding), Joe Ferry (Senior Design VP, IHG), Lee Hallman (Head of Design, Candy & Candy), Matt Turner (Editor, Sleeper), Jay Hunt (CCO, Channel 4), William Russell (Partner, Pentagram) and many more.
