In 2003 Breezefree's input was sought to assist in designing the alfresco frontages of the newly re branded Bella Italia estate. In Leicester Square the designs were recognised by the council as the preferred standard for the area.

Breezefree was engaged at the outset of the Wolverhampton and Dudley contract in 2003. Breezefree consulted with the client's project manager and their teams on different usage and combinations of equipment that could be installed on a typical public house patio.

At Brighton Marina, Breezefree negotiated with the landlords for the installation of 6 neighbouring sites on the promenade. All of which presented challenges in terms of the different ground conditions and aggressive weather exposure.

Breezefree have recently enjoyed successful negotiations with various City Councils in Scotland and England where SmartScreens™ have been installed on Highways land.

In 2005 Breezefree concluded a scheme for the Dome, George Street, Edinburgh, comprising 5 giant parasols and 5 motorised SailAwnings™ designed to provide complete retractable overhead protection over an external staircase and large courtyard.

Since incorporation, Breezefree has responded to market demand and expanded product lines, services and scope of works to provide the most comprehensive "one stop shop" for the growing outdoor drinking and dining industry in the UK.

This has included SimpleScreens™, SailAwnings™ Smoking Rooms and Winter Maintenance programmes amongst others.

In line with Breezefree's philosophy, the company continues to actively source, import and distribute the best from other European manufacturers.

In 2006 Breezefree introduced to the UK market:

Simon Cotton: The founder's history

Simon Cotton was originally a Company Director for 13 years with a national signage company, Cotton Signs Ltd. During this time he designed and rolled out national front of house branding contracts for companies like Halifax Property Services, Pizza Express, BUPA, Diahatsu, Chrysler and others.

In 1996 Simon created Simon Cotton Solutions (a sole trading business), which drew on his earlier experience of contracts management and boat building. SCS operated successfully as an exterior and interior design, manufacture and installation company, primarily serving bars and restaurants.

SCS was nominated for awards in front of house design schemes and up until 2004 was still being commissioned to undertake designs for interior and exterior schemes.
